At Jacaranda we weave our carpets and rugs exclusively from natural fibres. We are always on the lookout for new and interesting materials that we can use to create our stunning textures.
Cashmere, characterised by its fine, silky fibres, is widely used to create luxury knitwear with unrivalled softness. Jacaranda’s NEW Kashmir range was born out of our desire to mirror this unparalleled softness in our carpets and rugs. Kashmir blends together pure wool for added resilience with Cashmere fibres. Wool fibres have a wealth of inherent benefits, they are strong, springy and resistant to stains making them perfect for creating hard-wearing floorcoverings.
Artisan Production
Artisan hand-weaving techniques create a depth of pile that could never be mirrored by machine. Finished with a unique washing process that gives a textured velvet full of handmade character with beautiful shine.
Practicality
Not only does Kashmir offer the ultimate luxury it is enduringly practical too. With a class 33 usage classification and Bfl fire rating, it offers a sumptuous choice for exclusive interiors both residential and contract.
Colour Palette
Kashmir’s colour tones inspired by nature and approved by in-house colour expert, Maggie the office dog. Choose from warm neutrals, subtle golden honeysuckle, vivid burnt maple, and rich olive green. Stocked in 4m wide broadloom and rug sizes 170 x 240cm, 200 x 300cm and 300 x 400cm. Bespoke rug sizes and 5m wide broadloom are available by special order.
